Meet the Owner
Martin Kujawa
I've been a Licensed General Contractor for over 43 years. Before that, I left the Benedictine Monastery to join the "real world". Ha!! I've travelled to over 60 countries, and lived in India, Sri Lanka, China for short stints. I'm a Massage therapist, Aikido instructor, Yoga instructor and Spiritual Seeker as well as a friend of Bill W, a voracious reader, a photographer, and energetic creator of furniture and stone fountains.
I am a member of the Home Builders Association as well as Historical Denver Preservation, Inc. I have always been actively involved with the local community and my business succeeded largely from recommendations of individuals within the community. I spent the past twenty years as a voluntary coordinator at the Catholic Worker Soup Kitchen. I have been a member of the Conflict Resolution Center for twelve years, teaching children how to resolve conflicts. I also volunteer as a Chaplin at a local church and a member of the Denver Justice and Peace Center (DJAP). My philosophy on business is simple. I believe that the duty of a contractor is to protect the interest of the home owner at all times. This plays out as a "brief marriage" between the contractor and the home owner in which they become a team with a common goal. Awards - Kujawa Construction has received awards from the Council of Professional Remodelers (CPR) of the Home Builders Association of Metropolitan Denver in both kitchen remodeling (2000) and complete home remodeling (2001). These awards are representative of Kujawa Construction's commitment to deliver excellence in craftsmanship at reasonable prices.
